Undefeated WBC super flyweight champion Carlos " Principe " Cuadras (35-0, 38 KOs) of Mexico and former world title challenger Jesus "Renuente" Soto Karass (28-10-4, 18 KOs) of Los Mochis, Sinaloa, Mexico held separate workouts Thursday afternoon at the Maywood Boxing Club in Maywood, California for their upcoming bouts taking place Saturday, September 10 at the Forum in Los Angeles live on HBO. Fightnews.com spoke to both fighters as they talked about their upcoming bouts.
"I thank god and Teiken Promotions for this opportunity to be fighting on HBO in the U.S. and to be on the main event," Carlos Cuadras told Southern California Boxing.com
Cuadras will take on #1 Pound-for-Pound Fighter in the world and WBC flyweight champion Roman "Chocolatito" Gonzalez, (45-0-0, 38 KOs) of Nicaragua.

The Mexican warrior and fan favorite Jesus Soto Karass will battle it out once again with Japanese warrior Yoshihiro Kamegai, (26-3-2, 23KOs) in a rematch.
"This is the 2nd fight between us the rematch. The first fight was a war," Jesus Soto Karass told Southern California Boxing.com
"As far as Im concerned this will be a war. Kamegai is a kamikaze he comes to fight. Everyone knows what I am about and I will go and try to knockout him out"
