Los Angeles based Ukrainian light heavyweight Vyacheslav Shabranskyy stopped Oscar Riojas of Laredo, Texas in three rounds Friday night at LA Fight Club at the Belasco Theater in downtown Los Angeles headlining the Boxeo Estelar on Estrella TV telecast. A lead right by Shabransky sent Riojas to the canvas in round three as Riojas got up but the Ukraininan finished him off as referee Raul Caiz Jr. waived the bout at 1:43 of the third.
Shabransky stays undefeated as a prospect improving to 17-0, 14 KO's.
L.A.'s Ivan "Striker" Delgado scored a seventh round stoppage over Alejandro Ochoa in the scheduled eight round lightweight co-main event. During an exchange Delgado sent Ochoa to the canvas with a left hook in the opening round. With a mouse under his right eye, Delgado traded away with Ochoa throughout the fight. Delgado connected solidly with an uppercut in round four as Ochoa clinched and Delgado followed up with a solid straight right. However a triple left hook combination by Delgado in round seven did it as Ochoa went down and was up but referee Lou Moret stopped the fight 1:42 of the seventh.
Delgado improves to 10-0-1, 3 KO's. Ochoa goes to 7-12-2, 1 KO.
Alexis Rocha of Santa Ana opened up the Boxeo Estelar on Estrella TV telecast with a scored a first round stoppage over Israel Villela in a scheduled six round super welterweight bout. A right, left one-two combination by Rocha dropped Villela as he got up. Rocha continued to attack as referee Raul Caiz Jr stepped in to stop the fight at 1:18 of the opening round.
With the win Alexis Rocha improves to 4-0, 3 KO's. Israel Villela goes to 4-3, 1 KO.
Lightweight Oscar Duarte of Mexico made quick work of Omar Garcia of Monterrey, Mexico in a scheduled six round bout. Duarte landed landed a huge left hook as he backed Garcia, referee Raul Caiz stopped it after a flurry of punches at 58 seconds of the first round.

Santa Monica's David Mijares stopped Jorrell Sparenberg of Houston, Texas in the LA Fight Club opening bout from the Belasco Theater in downtown Los Angeles in a scheduled four round super lightweight bout. A barrage of punches by Mijares in round two forced referee Lou Moret to stop the fight at 1:36.
David Mijares stays undefeated improving to 3-0, 2 KO. Sparenberg goes to 0-2.
