LA Fight Club returned to the Belasco Theater in downtown Los Angeles as La Puente’s undefeated featherweight Abraham Lopez (22-0-1, 15 KO's) won a unanimous decision over Sergio Lopez (20-13-1, 13 KO's) of Ensenada, Mexico on the Boxeo Estelar on Estrella TV main event. Abraham Lopez was slick to start off popping the jab and landed a solid left hook to the body. Sergio Lopez pressed in round two as Abraham Lopez worked off the jab. Abe landed a clean left hook in round three and continued to back Lopez with big shots. The Mexican American fighter began his offensive in round four as he attacked the body and followed upstairs backing Lopez. Past the halfway point in round six exchanging on the inside Abraham Lopez landed to the body as Sergio Lopez pressed. Abe Lopez connected with a left upper in round seven snapping Lopez's head back but the Mexican connected with a power shot as both traded. The eighth round saw Abraham Lopez more aggressive going at Lopez with big punches but the Mexican showed toughness. Undefeated super bantamweight prospect Oscar Negrete (15-0, 5KO's) of Columbia stopped Mexican veteran Raul Hidalgo (25-15, 19 KO's) in four rounds in the LA Fight Club co-feature bout. In round one Negrete and Hidalgo sized each other as they stuck the jab. Picking it up in round two Negrete and Hidalgo exchanged as Negrete landed a hard right to the body but the Mexican pressed. Negrete was more aggressive in round three as he connected solidly on Hidalgo busting his nose. Opening up the Estrella TV telecast Edgar Valerio (9-0, 5 KO's) of Los Angeles scored a sixth round knockout over Guadalupe De Leon (9-15, 5 KO's) of Mission, Texas in a scheduled six round featherweight bout. Valerio popped the jab in the opening round as he kept De Leon away. In round two Valerio mixed it up as he switched to southpaw boxing away snapping De Leon's head with a stiff jab. Continuing to mix it up switching his distance Valerio dropped De Leon with a left hook in round three as the Texan continued to fight.
De Leon was above the right eye in round four as Valerio continued to use the jab and box. Displaying good boxing skill Valerio stuck to his plan through five but De Leon continued to press with big punches. A one-two combination by Valerio sent De Leon to the canvas as referee Jack Reiss waived it at 22 seconds.
Super featherweight Jousce Gonzalez (3-0) of Glendora, California scored an impressive first round knockout over Jordan Alvarado (0-2) of El Paso, Texas in a scheduled four round bout. Gonzalez connected solidly with uppercuts as he backed the taller Alvarado. A solid body shot followed by a pair of uppercuts dropped Alvarado as he got up but another body shot put him down for good as referee Jack Reiss stopped the fight at
Miami light heavyweight prospect Niko Valdes (3-0) scored a first round knockout over Will Williams (0-3) in a scheduled four round bout. A left hand dropped Williams in the opening round as the ref reached a ten count.
Featherweight Francisco Esparza (5-0, 2 KO's) of Las Vegas stopped Gerardo Molina (1-3, 1 KO) in two rounds in a scheduled four round bout. Esparza landed heavy shots on Molina from the opening bell and digged to the body. In round two Esparza continued to pound Molina with big punches as referee Raul Caiz Sr. had seen enough waived it at 2:36.
