Golovkin Talks Danny Jacobs

It's official WBC, WBA Super World, and IBF middleweight champion Gennady "GGG" Golovkin (36-0, 33 KO's) of Kazakhstan will take on WBA middleweight champion Danny Jacobs (32-1, 29 KO's) of Brooklyn, New York on Saturday March 18 at New York's Madison Square Garden live on HBO Pay per view. It was announced earlier this afternoon as Golovkin and Jacobs will put their titles on the line. We spoke to "GGG" and his team about his upcoming fight with Jacobs.

"It's big news for me, I am very excited. I think it's a very big fight and great fight for you guys to watch,"

"Danny is an amazing fighter. He is a tough opponent and number 2 in the middleweight division. He is my toughest opponent,"

"Hopefully I fight three times next year. There are big plans for 2017,"

"Right now I am focused on Jacobs and I am here to fight,"

"When Danny first became champion he mentioned that he was not ready for the elite and now he is ready to fight Gennady,"

"This will be the most gifted and athletic fighter that Gennady has fought,"
