Former three division world champion Leo Santa Cruz (32-1-1, 18 KO’s), WBC lightweight world champion Dejan Zlaticanin (22-0, 15 KO’s) of Montenegro and former two-division world champion Mikey Garcia (35-0, 29 KO’s) of Oxnard worked out for media Tuesday afternoon as they held separate workouts at the Fortune Gym in Hollywood, California for their upcoming bouts on Saturday January 28th at the MGM Grand Garden in Las Vegas live on Showtime.
Santa Cruz was accompanied by his father/trainer Jose Santa Cruz along with his brothers assistant trainer Antonio and former champion Jose Armando as the youngest of the brothers Leo will take on WBA featherweight champion Carl “The Jackal” Frampton (23-0, 14 KOs) in a much anticipated rematch.
"I am excited anxious and happy to step back in the ring. I want to go out and show what I have worked on," Leo Santa Cruz told Southern California Boxing.com

Zlaticanin and Garcia will square off on in the co feature bout for Zlaticanin’s WBC title.The champ spoke to us prior to his workout.
“I am very excited for this fight and right now I would like to get in the ring with Mikey Garcia if it would be possible,” Dejan Zlatacanin told Southern California Boxing.com
"Everything in preparations has been going great. I'll be 100% ready on January 28. This is the fight of my life. I have to be ready and we're right on track,”
“I know he is very popular famous fighter in the U.S. He is a two time world champion and is a hard puncher. I think that is good because he will go toe to toe with me,”
“I will give it 100 percent for this fight. One of us is going to get knocked out,”
Mikey Garcia worked out with his brother former world champion and multi time trainer of the year Robert Garcia.
"It's good to be part of this card on the Frampton Santa Cruz rematch. The first fight was good and my will also be good. My opponent will come with everything he has," Mikey Garcia told told Southern California Boxing.com
"We have had a good camp a total of 8 weeks with great sparring. The camp atmosphere I really enjoyed this camp,"
"He is dangerous with a lot of power. We seen video on him but I think our skills and experience will let me come out with the win,"
