Irish superstar Carl "The Jackal" Frampton (23-0, 14 KOs) of Belfast, Ireland and Leo "El Terremoto" Santa Cruz (32-1-1, 18 KOs) of Lincoln Heights Irish superstar Carl "The Jackal" Frampton (23-1, 14 KOs) of Belfast, Ireland and Leo "El Terremoto" Santa Cruz (33-1-1, 18 KOs) of Lincoln Heights, California by way of Huetamo, Michoacan, Mexico met with the media at the post fight press conference following their rematch Saturday night at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.
"What a terrific match. You can match these guys ten times and will get the same fight. There really is no loser. Today was another great fight. Two gentleman outside the ring and competitors inside the ring," Richard Schaefer said.

When asked if he is willing to fight Frampton in Belfast."A real champ goes anywhere. I am willing to go anywhere," Santa Cruz said."If managers come to an agreement we can fight a third fight. Or fight Abner Mares, Lee Selby, Gary Russell, I am willing to fight the best,"
"Obviously I am dissapointed. Me and Leo have had 24 rounds with each other. Leo is a tremendous fighter, he surprised me he boxed really well," Carl Frampton said. We have to make a trilogy. Leo said he can do a third fight in Belfast and I hope he is a man of his word," "He deserved the fight and congrats to him. I feel he stole a lot of those rounds late with his experience the better man won tonight,"

"This is only the beginning. I am very happy this is my third world title. This time it means more to me. The way the fight ended was unbelievable but he was a well worthy champion I stuck to my plan and came out with the victory," Mikey Garcia on his victory.
"Its nothing new to me. I don't feel pressure I am comfortable in there. Once the bell rings I am ready," Mikey Garcia said. "When the moment came to land that right hand it was perfect,"
Garcia on the knockout Garcia wins the WBC super featherweight title as he adds a third world title to his collection in threee weight divisions, the champ also spoke about his plans for 2017."My main focus is 135 pound division I feel good here with my speed. We have plans in the future to move to 140. 147 ma take a year or two. Right now its 135," Garcia said about his future.
"Give me another 2 or 3 months I can be back anytime soon. I would like to fight anybody at 135 and unify. In the meantime I don't want to be waiting. I want to get back in the ring," Garcia said on returning soon."If Lomachenko and Bob Arum wants to go to 135 and fight me, we can do that. I hear the fans and media calling for that fight but I have not heard anything from their side,"
