Rey Vargas vs. Ronnie Rios Look to Steal the Show


WBC super bantamweight champion Rey Vargas (29-0, 22 KOs ) of Mexico and Santa Ana, California's Ronny Rios (28-1, 13 KOs) will square off tomorrow at the Stub Hub Center in Carson, Califoria in the HBO Miguel Cotto vs. Yoshihiro Kamegai co feature bout. Vargas and Rios will look to steal the show in opening up the telecast.

The champion Vargas went into hostile territory in his last fight as he defeated Gavin McDonnell by decision in England winning the WBC super bantamweight title.

Rios is coming into this fight winning five straight and scored a stoppage over Daniel Noriega in his last fight.

Vargas vs. Rios will be a scheduled 12 round championship bout for Vargas's WBC super bantamweight title.
