Boxing Returns to Agua Caliente

Professional live boxing returns to Agua Caliente Casino in Rancho Mirage, California on Saturday, September 23 with the 79th edition of World Fighting Championship (WFC), a card headlined by young undefeated Las Vegas sensation Devin Haney along with some of the best local talent. The show will also feature local up and coming prospects, Javier Padilla and Ryan Caballero, brother of former world champion Randy Caballero and in a female bout former world champion Keliesha West (16-2-3, 4 KO’s) of Moreno Valley, California will be featured in a 6 rounds 128 pound bout.

Haney (16-0, 11 KOs) of Las Vegas will take on John Delperdang (10-3, 9 KOs) of Escondido, California in a 10 round lightweight bout. Haney, who is 18 years old, and one of the hottest rising prospects in professional boxing, will be seeking his sixth victory of the year. Also in the card is local prospect Javier Padilla (3-0-1, 3 KOs) of Rancho Mirage, who is managed and trained by Joel Diaz.

Padilla who will be featured on a four-round featherweight bout had a spectacular knockout of Bacillo Monterroso back in June in this same venue

The doors open at 6:00 p.m. First bell is at 7:00 p.m. Tickets for the event are priced at $100, $60 (Orchestra), $40 (Loge) and $25 (General Admission) in the Mezzanine and Balcony Level and can be acquired by visiting: www.hotwatercasino.com/wfc-boxing.
