North Hollywood's Ferdinand Kerobyan (11-0, 6 KOs) returned to the Belasco Theater in downtown Los Angeles Friday night with a spectacular knockout over Rolando Mendevil (10-6, 3 KOs) in the LA Fight Club main event. A huge left hook by Kerobyan dropped Mendevil early in the fight but a right hand did it as Mendevil was down a second time forcing referee Lou Moret to stop the fight 49 seconds of the first.

Glendale's former world title challenger Azat Hovhannisyan (15-3, 12 KOs) stopped Jesus Martinez (24-5, 12 KOs) of Colombia in four rounds in the co-feature bout. The bout began with the southpaw Martinez circling the ring bouncing around as Hovhannysian stalked swinging away with big punches. Martinez wanted no part of Hovhannisyan in round two as the hard right hand backed Martinez a couple of times. Ripping away to the body in round three, Hovhannisyan pinned Martinez up against the ropes, Martinez kept slipping every time Azat had a rally, however later in the round Hovhannisyan scored a knockdown, after the knockdown the Colombian continued to go to the canvas. The right hand found its mark once again for Hovhannisyan sending Martinez to canvas buckling him to a knee as the corner threw in the towel referee Jack Reis waived the bout at 30 seconds of the fourth.

Young prospect Richard Acevedo (4-0, 4 KOs) of Garden City, Kansas made quick work disposing of Javier Olvera (2-2, 1 KO) in a scheduled four round bout. Acevedo wasted no time going at Olvera attacking him from the opening bell, later in the opening round a body did it as Olvera was down the referee stopped the fight at 2:30 of the first.

Rudy Garcia (9-0, 1 KO) of Los Angeles won a unanimous decision over David Perez (10-5, 5 KOs) of Houston in a scheduled six round bantamweight bout. From the start Garcia and Perez went at each other exchanging. Fighting on the inside trading away in round three, a clash of heads separated them as Garcia was on the receiving end. Garcia jabbed throughout the fight as Perez attempted to get on the inside. Late in the fight in the sixth and final round Perez and Garcia stood in the center trading.

Scores were 60-54, 60-54, and 59-56.

Super lightweight prospect David Mijares (6-0, 3 KOs) of Pasadena, California and Michael Myers (2-1, 2 KOs) of Los Angeles squared off in the opening bout of LA Fight Club at the Belasco Theater in Los Angeles. Myers came out like the boogeyman attacking as he dropped Mijares in the opening round. Mijares kept his composure boxing picking his shots as Myers already seemed tired. In round three, Myers swung wildly connecting on the slick Mijares as he continued to box. The fourth and final round Myers kept the pressure as a bloodied Mijares kept his distance circling the ring. The judges scored the bout 38-37 Mijares, 38-37 Mijares, and 38-37 Myers as Mijares pulls off the split decision
