The pay per view fighters for the Deontay Wilder vs. Tyson Fury undercard spoke at their final press conference as Cuban heavyweights Luis Ortiz (29-1, 25 KOs), Travis Kauffman (32-2, 23 KOs), IBF/WBA super welterweight champion Jarrett Hurd (22-0, 15 KOs) along with his opponent Jason Welborn (24-6, 7 KOs), heavyweight prospect Joe Joyce (6-0, 6 KOs) and his opponent Joe Hanks (23-2, 15 KOs) were on hand at Westin Bonaventure in Los Angeles.
Here is what the fighters had to say.
Ortiz and Kauffman will square off in a ten round heavyweight bout.
Luis Ortiz:
“I respect Kauffman and his team for stepping up. I know he is coming to do his job,”
“I’m happy to be back in L.A.”
“I’m coming to do my job and easy work on Saturday night,”
Travis Kauffman:
“I want to thank Ortiz for taking this fight,”
“Ortiz can fight and punch but I don’t give a fuck,”
“He is worried about Wilder but Wilder already fucked him up,”
“He has to worry about come Saturday night,”
Hurd will be defending his IBF and WBA title for the as he takes on the Englishman Welborn.
Jarrett Hurd:
“I want to thank my team,”
“L.A the storm is here. I brought it with me. Saturday night I want to show that I’m swift. Tune in Saturday night,”
Jason Welborn
“I want to thank Swift for this opportunity. It’s a dream come true,”

Opening up the Showtime pay per view will be British heavyweight prospect Joe Joyce and Joe Hanks.
Joe Joyce:
“I’m excited to be on this massive card. The whole world is watching. Stay tuned watch me start the show Saturday night,”
Joe Hanks
“I’m excited to be on this card and this is a good time to be a heavyweight. It’s time to do something special. I’m ready,”
