Tyson Fury Post Fight

Tyson “Gypsy King” Fury (27-0-1, 19 KOs) of England spoke to the media at the post fight press conference following his draw with WBC heavyweight champion Deontay “The Bronze Bomber” Wilder (40-0-1, 39 KOs) Saturday night at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.

“The fans were the winners tonight. I had a great dance partner. I’m not taking anything away from Wilder he is a great champion,” Fury said

We won the fight. Whatever the result was I thought Tyson won the fight,” Promoter Frank Warren said

The "Gypsy King" was down in the ninth round and in the twelfth as the knockdowns made the difference in one of the judges scorecards securing Wilder the split decision draw 115-111 WIlder, 114-110 Fury, and 113-113 a draw.

“I have a good fighting spirit that’s how I got up. Wilder make no mistake about it is a big puncher. A fearsome puncher,”

“What really disappointed me was the British judge scorecard. I don’t know what fight he was watching but I’m not going to cry over spilled milk,”

Fury talked about his desire for an immediate rematch with Wilder and also threw jabs at undisputed heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua.

“I’m sure we will put on a great one in rematch,” Fury on a rematch

“It’s no secret Joshua did not want this fight. I stood up for my people and represented the U.K,” Fury added

“I’d love the rematch in the U.K. in a stadium. We want the fight in the U.K,” Frank Warren on a rematch.
