Undefeated four-division champion Mikey Garcia (39-0, 30 KOs) of Riverside by way of Oxnard, California held a media workout in Riverside, California as he prepares for his upcoming showdown against Errol Spence Jr. (24-0, 21 KOs) of Dallas taking place next weekend on Saturday March 16 from AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas live PBC on FOX Sports Pay-Per-View event
Mikey Garcia:
“Spence is the best. He’s referred as the best in his division. To be the best, you have to beat the best,”
“The first thing everyone sees is the size, weight, it’s possible to over this challenge,”
“He reminds me of myself. He does everything well. He resembles the way I fight because he can box, use good footwork. It’s more than just strength and size,”
“He is a great champion,”
“I have to be prepared to do whatever it takes. I want to show everyone that I’m a bad ass,”
Robert Garcia:
“Mikey is looking good. He’s sparring bigger guys and Mikey has been able to hang in there. That’s been the difference this camp,”
“This is a big challenge with a bigger and heavier guy but he won’t be the smarter,”
“Mikey wanted the best challenge out there. He wants to be recognized as the best,”
Also in attendance was heavyweight fan-favorite and slugger Chris Arreola (37-5-1, 32 KOs) of Riverside as he takes on Jean Pierre Augustin (17-0-1, 12 KOs) in a heavyweight bout featured on the pay-per-view card.
Chris Arreola:

“I feel in great shape. I’m still a heavyweight to be reckoned with but I’m still a gatekeeper. This is a situation I put myself in. I have to make the most of it,”
“I’m fighting a lefty. It’s different fighting a lefty that’s the hardest part,”
“I’m in the part of my career where I’m one and done. I’m chasing a title. I have to give it my all and go out with a bang,”
