Former world champion Jessie Magdaleno (26-1, 18 KOs) of Las Vegas and former world title challenger Rafael Rivera (27-3-2, 18 KOs) of Tijuana, Mexico squared off in the co-feature bout. Magdaleno looks forward to getting another crack at a world title as he talked about his possibility of facing the winner of tonight's main event.
"These things happen. It's part of the sport. I have a lot of respect for Rivera. He is a warrior. "I felt very good. I felt strong. I would say better than ever. I want a world title. I'm ready."
