The rematch is set between WBC super welterweight champion, Detroit's, Tony "Superbad'' Harrison (28-2-1, 21 KOs) and former super welterweight champion Jermell Charlo (32-1, 16 KOs) of Houston held a press conference Thursday afternoon in Los Angeles to officially announce their rematch. Harrison and Charlo will square off in a rematch on Saturday, December 21 at the Toyota Arena in Ontario, California.FOX PBC Fight Night and on FOX Deportes.
Nearly a year to the date Harrison and Charlo will settle their unfinished business in the rematch. The two met last year in a close fight that saw Harrison squeak out the decision at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.
Harrison and Charlo were slated to square off this past summer but an injury sustained by Harrison forced him out of the rematch.
