Former heavyweight champion Andy Ruiz has reportedly split with trainer Manny Robles after coming to his rematch with Anthony Joshua in less than top condition. After pulling the upset last year in scoring a knockout over Joshua. Ruiz became the heavyweight champ. The rematch was agreed to shortly after as he lost a decision to Joshua. Ruiz said he pretty much trained himself for that fight.
It is now reported that Ruiz will be working under veteran trainer Teddy Atlas.
