LOS ANGELES, CA – Robert Garcia, World Champion Boxing Trainer and Boxing Trainer of the Year, and adidas Boxing announced a new partnership today that includes a unique patented glove and exciting new merchandise line. Christophe Dessalles, Managing Director, adidas Boxing, announced the new, expanded partnership today. The line will be sold at usboxing.net, the official adidas boxing website. Garcia’s gym, the Robert Garcia Boxing Academy (RGBA), continues as an official adidas testing gym where adidas boxing equipment is tested and used by the RGBA staff and chosen athletes. Rick Mirigian represented Garcia in the deal.

Garcia is recognized as one of the leading boxing trainers in the U.S., having established his Robert Garcia Boxing Academy (@Garciaboxing) first in Oxnard, CA and now at their home base in Riverside, CA. He has trained over a dozen boxers to world titles including his brother Mikey Garcia, boxing phenomenon Vergil Ortiz Jr., Joshua Franco, Jose Ramirez, Abner Mares, Nonito Donaire, Brandon Rios, and Josesito Lopez, among others. Garcia’s program leads Southern California based boxing programs dominance in the sport.
