After his win Sunday night, former heavyweight world champion Andy Ruiz Jr. (35-2, 22 KO’s) of Imperial Valley, California spoke about his victory over Cuba’s Luis “King Kong” Ortiz (33-3, 28 KO’s). Ruiz talked about his unanimous decision over Ortiz in a WBC heavyweight title eliminator bout to earn him the number one ranking for the heavyweight title and a potential shot at Deontay Wilder in his next fight.
