WBC/IBF light heavyweight world champion, Russia's Artur Beterbiev (16-0, 16 KOs) stopped Adam Deines (19-2-1, 10 KOs) of Germany in ten rounds Saturday night at the Megasport Sport Palace in Moscow, Russia. Off to a slow start, a right hand by Beterbiev in the closing seconds of the opening round dropped Deinis. It was all Beterbiev as he took his time landing the big punches, Deines proved to be tough. Deines went down again for a second time as Beterbiev connected with a short left, Deines was up but his corner had seen enough as the fight was stopped.
Undefeated super middleweight Pavel Silyagin (7-0, 4 KOs) won a unanimous decision over previously unbeaten WBC #4 rated Azizbek Abdugofurov (13-1, 5 KOs). The judges scored the bout 120-108, 119-109, 119-109. Silyagin wins the WBC silver super middleweight title.
Unbeaten welterweight Alexander Besputin (14-0, 10 KOs) scored a third round knockout over Viktor Plotnikov (33-11, 15 KOs).
