Super middleweight and former world title contender Brandon Adams (23-3, 15 KOs) kept his world title hopes alive as he stopped prospect Serhii Bohachuk (18-1, 18 KOs) of Ukraine handing him his first defeat in the Ring City USA main event from the in Puerto Rico. Bohachuk boxed and kept the aggression as Adams proved to be a tough and durable challenge for the undefeated fighter. However a crushing left hook by Adams dropped Bohachuk as he got up extremely hurt referee waived the bout at 2:40.
Super featherweight Bryan Chevalier (15-1, 12 KOs) scored a third round KO over Carlos Zambrano (26-2, 11 KOs). Chevalier dropped Zambrano three times as the fight was stopped at 2:21.
Puerto Rico's Danielito Zorrilla (15-0, 11 KOs) and Ruslan Madiyev (13-2, 5 KOs) squared off in the co-feature. Madiyev attacked and stood close to Zorrilla. Things got rough as Madiyev was deducted a point in the fifth for hitting Zorrilla behind the head. It was a tough and competitive bout with Madiyev being the aggressor and Zorrilla using his skill. Zorilla went down after being hit behind the head in round eight. Fight was stopped after Zorrilla could not continue as the bout was stopped as they went to the scorecards. Zorrilla was up 77-75, 77-74 on two cards with Madiyev ahead on the other card 76-73.
Fernando Vargas, Jr., (2-0, 2 KO's) son of former world champion El Feroz, Fernando Vargas scored a first round knockout over Salome Flores Torres (0-3). Vargas dropped Torres twice.
Super lightweight Harold Laguna (2-0, 2 KO) scored a first round knockout over Darwin Alvarez (0-1)
In the opening bout Welterweight Jorge Diaz (1-0, 1 KO) stopped Felipe Munoz (0-1) in two.
