Canelo Plant Press Conference

WBA/WBC/WBO super middleweight champion Saul "Canelo" Álvarez (56-1-2, 38 KOs) of Guadalajara, Jalisco Mexico and undefeated IBF super middleweight champion Caleb “Sweethands” Plant (21-0, 12 KOs) of Nashville, Tennessee met today for the first time for the kickoff press conference at the Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills, California to announce their upcoming unification showdown. Things intensified at the presser as Canelo shoved Plant and a melee broke out as Plant took a swing and Canelo countered. Causing a minor cut underneath's Plant's right eye.Canelo and Plant will square off Saturday, November 6, live on Showtime PPV at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.
