Canelo vs. Callum Smith December 18 Live on DAZN

Mexican superstar and three division world champion Saul "Canelo" Alvarez (53-1-2 36 KOs) returns to the ring as he will take on England's Callum Smith for the WBA and Ring Magazine World Super-Middleweight titles on Saturday December 19, live on DAZN. Details on location will be announced later.


Canelo was last in action since knocking out Sergey Kovalev over a year ago November 2019 in Las Vegas. Alvarez also stopped Callum's brother Liam back in 2016. Forthe WBA champ, Smith he defeated John Ryder a year ago via unanimous decision.


“I’m very happy to return to the ring and continue to make history,” said Canelo. “I am motivated to continue to be the best, and I look forward to fighting Callum Smith, who is one of the best at 168lbs.”
