Don King Issues Cease & Desist to SELA & TKO Group Holdings, Inc.

Legendary boxing promoter Don King, who has the number two heavyweight contender Michael Hunter under contract has issued a cease and desist order to SELA and TKO Group Holdings, Inc. The news broke out early Sunday that heavyweights Michael Hunter was to take on Jarrell Miller to kickoff Canelo Crawford fight weekend Thursday September 11 has come to King’s attention that there is a fight being promoted and slated for the festive boxing weekend in Las Vegas.

King, won the rights to promote the WBA Heavyweight Championship fight between his fighter, Hunter, and WBA Heavyweight Champion Kubrat “The Cobra” Pulev in a purse bid and then was victorious in two consecutive appeals to the WBA by Epic Sports and Entertainment.

“They continue to disobey the WBA and it’s clear directive on the Pulev-Hunter championship fight,” said King. “Hunter is under contract to Don King Productions and he’ll be fighting for a world championship.”
