Alvarado trains out of Knockouts Boxing Gym with the Manny Robles stable. Splitting his time between super-flyweight and the bantamweight divisions, the future is bright for Alvarado in the two star-studded divisions that feature living legends such as Roman Gonzalez, Naoya Inoue, and others. One of his main training partners is Junto Nakatani, so a future showdown in Japan perhaps is on the horizon.
