Hollywood Fight Nights Media Day

Tom Loeffler’s 360 Promotions hosted media workouts for the next Hollywood Fight Nights event on Tuesday in front of a large gathering of press at Fundamentals 19 Boxing Gym in Bell Gardens, California. Among those taking part in the media workouts ahead of the Friday, January 17 event at the Commerce Casino Events Center and broadcast globally on UFC FIGHT PASS® were


WBC Continental Americas Champion and World Ranked Featherweight Omar Trinidad, WBO Women’s Super Flyweight World Champion Mizuki Hiruta, Super Middleweight Contender Ali Akhmedov and Popular Women’s Super-Featherweight ‘Right Hook’ Roxy Verduzco.



Also taking part were Women’s Junior Flyweight Combatants, Gloria Munguilla and Brook Sibrian, Undefeated Super Welterweight Joshua Anton, Super Bantamweight Rising Star Adan Palma, Undefeated Lightweight Taylor Beltran, Undefeated Super Flyweight Alexander Gueche and Bantamweight Newcomer Nicolas Robledo.

The January 17 Hollywood Fight Nights event is headlined by the Undefeated ‘King of LA Boxing’ Omar Trinidad, (17-0-1, 12 KOs), of Boyle Heights, CA making the third defense of his WBC Continental Americas Featherweight Title against ‘Magic’ Mike Plania, (31-4, 18 KOs), of General Santos City, Philippines over ten scheduled rounds. Trinidad is


currently ranked #2 by the International Boxing Federation.



Fighting in the ten-round co-main event, Japanese Boxing Star and WBO Super Flyweight World Champion Mizuki Hiruta, (6-0, 2 KOs), will defend her title for the third time against world ranked, Mexican contender Maribel ‘Pantera’ Ramirez, (15-10-4, 3 KOs). The fight marks Hiruta’s first fight in the United States.



Kazakh Super Middleweight Contender Ali Akhmedov, (22-1, 16 KOs), battles Malcolm Jones, (17-4-1, 10 KOs), of Indianapolis, IN over ten scheduled rounds. Victorious three times in 2024, Akhmedov returns to battle following a ten-round unanimous decision in a very competitive fight over Pierre Hubert Dibombe on September 20 in Dublin, Ireland. Jones looks to bounce back into the win column following a hotly contested split decision draw against Victor Hugo Exner on October 19, 2024 in Manchester, NH.



Making her highly anticipated return to the Hollywood Fight Nights ring, local fan favorite ‘Right Hook’ Roxy Verduzo, (2-0) faces Lindsey Ellis, (2-1, 2 KOs), of Pleasant View, TN over six rounds in the super featherweight division. Verduzco, a highly decorated amateur with a record of 101-6 including winning an astounding 21 national titles, won a six-round shutout unanimous decision over Colleen Davis on July 26, 2024.



Fighting in the women’s junior flyweight division in an eight-rounder, fast-rising star Gloria Munguilla, (6-1), of Los Angeles, CA clashes with ‘Mighty’ Brook Sibrian, (5-1), of Coachella, CA. Munguilla defeated Amarilis Adorno over four rounds on June 30, 2024 while Sibrian looks to bounce back following a hard-fought six round decision against Tania Garcia Hernandez on November 23, 2024.



Hard-hitting super welterweight southpaw Joshua Anton, (8-0, 8 KOs), of Palmdale, CA will make his Hollywood Fight Nights debut against Cameron Krael, (21-33-3, 7 KOs), of Las Vegas, NV in a scheduled six rounder.



Popular and undefeated super bantamweight rising star Adan Palma, (10-0, 6 KOs), of San Diego, CA returns to the Commerce Casino Events Center for the third time in a six-round clash against Sharone ‘Smoke’ Carter, (14-8-1, 3 KOs), of St. Louis, MO.



Southern California fan favorite, undefeated Tayden ‘The Butcher’ Beltran, (9-0-1, 4 KOs), of Huntington Beach, CA faces Eugene Lagos, (16-8-3, 11 KOs), in a six-round lightweight bout.



19-year-old Alexander ‘The Alley Cat’ Gueche, (6-0, 5 KOs), of Long Beach, CA battles Lito Dante, (21-13-4, 12 KOs), of Bohol, Philippines in a super flyweight six rounder.



Bantamweight newcomer Oscar Ochoa, (1-0), of El Monte, CA will see action in a four rounder against Eduardo Sanchez, (1-1), of Watsonville, CA.



Featherweight Nicolas Robledo, (1-0), of Wilmington, CA competes in a four round bantamweight fight against an opponent to be announced.
