Inoue Returns Christmas Eve vs. Sam Goodman

Undisputed super bantamweight champion Naoya "The Monster" Inoue (28-0, 25 KOs) of Japan will defend his super bantamweight titles against undefated Australian Sam Goodman (19-0, 8 KOs) on Christmas eve Tuesday, December 24, at Ariake Arena in Tokyo.

Inoue is coming off a stoppage over former world champion TJ Doheny as Goodman defeated Thachtana Luangphon by decision in his last fight. The Monster is looking to make his third successful defense and continues his KO streak to ten consecutve fights.

Inoue-Goodman will headline a special early-morning broadcast streaming live and exclusively in the U.S. on ESPN+. In the co-feature, Yoshiki Takei (10-0, 8 KOs) will defend his WBO bantamweight world title against an opponent to be named.
