The Baby-Faced Assassin’, Lupita Medina, (10-0, 2 KOs), of Maywood, CA looks to stay undefeated against Mexican Warrior Rubi ‘La Panterita’ Gutierrez, (5-2-1), of Saltillo, Mexico, featured in a scheduled eight-round minimum weight clash at the next Hollywood Fight Nights event set for Friday, August 15 at Chumash Casino Resort broadcast globally on UFC FIGHT PASS®, the world’s leading digital subscription service for combat sports.

The 21-year-old Medina has established herself since turning professional in 2022 as a world class fighter and is currently ranked #4 in the world by the IBF and #5 by the WBO. Medina is managed by Manny Robles and trained by Edgar Jasso.

Presented by Tom Loeffler’s 360 Promotions, advance tickets priced at $105, $85, $75, $65 and $55 for Hollywood Fight Nights can be purchased online through the Chumash Casino Resort. The Chumash Casino Resort venue is located at 3400 East Highway 246, Santa Ynez, CA 93460.

“Lupita is truly a fast-rising star in women’s boxing,” said Tom Loeffler. “Boxing fans in Southern California and those watching our events on UFC Fight Pass have watched her become one of the most popular and talented young fighters in boxing. Having worked with numerous female world champions over the last 25 years, I’m convinced Lupe has all the attributes to join that long list.”

“Rubi Gutierrez is another tough challenge for me but I’ve worked very hard this summer in training and I’m ready to put on another great show on August 15,” said Lupe Medina. “My goal is to become a world champion and these are the types of fights that will ensure that I’m ready when that time comes.”

Medina returns to action following an eight-round shutout unanimous decision over Maria Micheo Santizo (12-5) in front of her growing legion of Southern California fans on May 17, 2025 in Los Angeles. She kicked off her 2025 campaign with a sterling performance over eight rounds against Augustina Solange Vazquez on February 21, 2025 at Chumash Casino Resort.

Rubi Gutierrez made her United States debut in a hotly contested clash with world ranked Brook Sibrian on May 22, 2025 in Los Angeles. Battle tested on the hardened Mexican boxing circuit, the upset minded 19-year-old looks to enter the top tiers of female boxing with a victory over Medina.

The Hollywood Fight Nights event is headlined by ‘The King of LA’, Omar Trinidad, (19-0-1, 13 KOs), defending his WBC Continental Americas Featherweight Title for the fifth time in the ten-round main event against hard-hitting Lorenzo Parra, (23-1, 17 KOs), of Machiques, Venezuela.

Additional fights for this exciting event will be announced shortly.
