Naoya Inoue Ramon Cardenas Post Fight

Japanese superstar junior featherweight champion Naoya Inoue (29-0, 26 KO’s) successfully defended his undisputed crown in knocking out Ramon Cardenas (26-1, 14 KO’s) of San Antonio, Texas in headlining on ESPN Sunday night at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. Inoue held court following his victory as he talked about his victory at the post fight press conference. Also present at the post fight was Ramon Cardenas.


The champ was knockdown in the second round by huge Cardenas left hook but managed to return the favor in scoring a knockdown and finishing Cardenas.


A showdown with fellow Japanese, WBC super bantamweight champion Junto Nakatani was mentioned for May of 2026.
