Hall of Famer & eight division world champion, Philippine icon Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao (62-8-2, 39 KO’s) and WBC welterweight champion Mario “El Azteca” Barrios (29-2-1, 18 KO’s) of San Antonio, Texas held a press conference Thursday afternoon at the NOVU in Los Angeles to officially announce their fight. Pacquiao returns to the ring after four years as he squares off against Barrios on Saturday, July 19 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on the PBC on Prime PPV main event.

The undercard fighters were also on hand at the press conference.

In the co-feature bout, WBC super welterweight champion Sebastian “The Towering Inferno” Fundora (22-1-1, 14 KO’s) and Australia’s Tim Tszyu (25-2, 18 KO’s) square off in a rematch. The two squared off last year in a Fight of the Year as it was a bloody battle in which Fundora prevailed to win the WBC title, Tszyu looks to avenge that defeat and regain the title.

Former world champion Isaac “Pitbull” Cruz (27-3-1, 18 KO’s) of Mexico City and his fellow countryman Angel Fierro (23-3-2, 18 KO’s) of Tijuana will square off once again in a rematch. Cruz edged out Fierro to win a unanimous decision in their first fight early this year.

Former two-division world champion Brandon “The Heartbreaker” Figueroa (25-2-1, 19 KO’s) of Weslaco, Texas takes on Joet Gonzalez (27-4, 15 KO’s) of Glendora, California to open the pay per view card.
