Former WBC super lightweight champion Regis Prograis (29-2, 24 KO’s) spoke about his defeat to former undisputed lightweight champion and now 2-division, WBC super lightweight champion Devin Haney (31-0, 15 KO’s). Prograis relinquished the crown in dropping a one-sided unanimous decision Saturday night at the Chase Center in San Franciso, California.
It was a tough one for Prograis as he could not get going and was dropped in the third round as he was dominated in going the distance.
Looking to become a three-time world champion Prograis as he will likely lay low for the time being but has mentioned his desire to fight IBF junior welterweight champion Subriel Matias. However, Prograis dropped the bomb on his interest in doing MMA.
