Boxing City USA held its inagural show at Freddie Roach’s legendary Wild Card Boxing Club in Hollywood, California as super featherweights O’Shaquie Foster (18-2, 11 KO's) of Houston stopped Mexican veteran Miguel “Micky” Roman (62-14, 47 KO's) in headlining the new boxing series on NBCSN.
A flush right by Foster dropped Roman early in the opening round, the Mexican was up as Foster continued his attack. Roman continued to fight on and go forward as Foster maintaining his distance boxed. Foster's skill and technique neutralized Roman's pressure throuhgout the bout. A snapping right uppercut in the seventh by Foster snapped the Mexican's head back as Roman continued to press.
However in the ninth Foster finished off Roman with a barrage of punches as the referee stepped in to stop the fight at :58 of the ninth.

Super featherweight Eduardo "Rocky" Hernandez pummled Eduardo Garza for three rounds in scoring the stoppage. From the start Hernandez landed the heavy punches as Garza succomed to a crunching left hook to the body as the referee reached a ten count at.2:37.

Mexican lightweight William Zepeda (22-0, 20 KOs) stopped Roberto Ramirez (23-3, 16 KO's) in the fifth round in making his US debut. After a competitive start, Ramirez boxed well but Zepeda began to breakdown Ramirez. Connecting with solid counters and finishing him at 2:43 of the fifth.
Light heavyweight Marco Deckman (3-1) won a decision over Cristiano Pedro (2-2-1)
