Former unified heavyweight world champion Andy “The Destroyer” Ruiz Jr. (34-2, 22 KO’s) of Imperial Valley, California and Luis “King Kong” Ortiz (33-2, 28 KO’s) of Cuba held their press conference to announce their fight as they will square off in a WBC title eliminator bout. Ruiz and Ortiz will clash Sunday September 4 at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles live on FOX Sports PPV.
Also on hand at the press conference was former world champion Abner Mares as he prepares to make his return against Miguel Flores on the pay-per-view telecast.
