Super middleweight prospect Daniel “Ice Man” Blancas of Milwaukee tool on Raul Salomon of Baja California, Mexico in headlining First on Prime. It was a hard fought ten rounds for the undefeated fighter as he outworked Salomon through the course of the fight. Controlling the action, boxing effectively and mixing it up in route to the decision win.


Upon completing ten rounds, the scores were as follows: 100-90, 99-91, & 99-91. With the victory, Blancas stays undefeated as a prospect, improving to 15-0, 7 KOs, while Salomon goes to 16-4-1, 14 KOs.


Capetillo Decisions PierceSeventeen-year-old super lightweight prospect Dylan Capetillo of Las Vegas put in solid work over four rounds to win a unanimous decision over James Pierce of Phoenix by way of Omaha. Capetillo fought smart, outworking the southpaw Pierce on his way to the decision victory.


All three judges scored the bout 39-37 as Capetillo improved his record to 2-0 with 1 KO. Pierce falls to 2-1 with 2 KOs.

Carillo KOs Delgado


Undefeated light heavyweight Olympian Juan Carrillo of Colombia scored a fourth-round knockout over Ecuadorian Olympian Marlo Delgado. Delgado appeared to be controlling the fight, but a crushing body shot by Carrillo in the fourth round changed everything. Delgado hit the canvas, and the referee counted him out at 2:59 of the round.


Carrillo improves to 15-0 with 11 KOs and remains unbeaten, while handing Delgado (8-1, 6 KOs) the first loss of his career.

Hernandez And Lewis Draw


Preliminary Bouts


Lightweight Julio Hernandez of Seattle and Carlos Lewis of Oklahoma City fought to a six-round draw. It was a competitive back-and-forth battle throughout all six rounds. The judges scored the bout 58-56 for Hernandez, 58-56 for Lewis, and 57-57.

Hernandez is now 9-0-1 with 5 KOs, while Lewis moves to 5-1-1 with 3 KOs.


Meza Stops SmithUndefeated super lightweight prospect Javier Meza of Amarillo, Texas stopped Damonte Smith of Davenport, Iowa in the fifth round. It was a fast-paced fight early on, with Meza applying pressure and digging to the body. Meza dropped Smith early in the fourth round. After Smith got back up, Meza continued ripping away and dropped him for a second time as Smith attempted to fight back. The offensive attack continued from Meza, and referee Thomas Taylor finally stepped in to stop the fight at 1:28 of the fifth round.


With the stoppage victory, Meza improves to 6-0 with 3 KOs, while Smith falls to 3-1 with 1 KO.


Opening the action, Russian middleweight Petr Khamukov of Woodland Hills, California won a one-sided unanimous decision over Bernard Joseph of Dorchester, Massachusetts in a scheduled 10-round bout. It was a hard-fought contest for Khamukov, as he pressed the action and took the fight to Joseph over the distance. After 10 rounds, the judges scored the bout 99-91, 99-91, and 98-92.


With the win, Khamukov improves to 14-1 with 6 KOs, while Joseph falls to 12-4-1 with 5 KOs.
